Monday Dennis Visit

I had a very nice day today because my friend Dennis visited and took me to Bloomingdales, I have had an obsession to get a new pair of Pajama's and a new bathrobe to wear in the Hospital next week. I was so afraid that I was going to be signed into the Operation without a respectable set of PJ's. So I had a big day out, my second in 10 days! I did start to fatigue pretty badly, but he took me to Panera Breads for a bowl of soup and a sandwich (Chicken Almond) which hit the spot nicely. He just dropped me off and I'm not feeling too good. I can feel that I am getting sicker, i have my "tell-tale" hints that involve my sense of smell and the color of my pee :(. But what can ya do, today I need to gather some films and slides to take to Sloan. I have a lot to do, more updates later

....But I do have the Pajamas!!!!

Up Early Determined to have good day! Happy Halloween

So yesterday, my vision of getting things done crashed and burned despite my determination! I had really low  energy pretty much from the get-go then things got steadily worse. It was a super bright sunny fall day, nice and brisk temp. Had a nice visit from Wayne who looked very well rested and tanned after a few days off in North Carolina. He brought me the New York Times.

I couldn't even read more that a few section headines- Ended up spending the whole day moaning and groaning with Abdominal pain and Nasea- I slept a great deal during the day and had a little bit to eat but by 7pm i was crawling back to bed. Then I had a violent hour with my body acting up and eventually slept.

So Today I feel like i was beat up but my head is in a good place, I'm up and at 'em! Got some food down, having Coffee and doing banking and jotting down this update:)

A Big Thank You to Danielle for making me that delicious food, the Chix Soup and the Mac & Cheese have been so good for my belly and my soul!!

Sunday a.m. -Post Nor'easter

i live in a beautiful place - i slept fairly well with toasty warm clean bleached white sheets :) - DAMN :)) happy

Took Bradley for a quick wee-wee on the beach, it's Sunday morning, the morning after that Nor'easter, the beach has been completely reshaped and refinished from the pounding winds, surf & rain. It's very exciting, like I am in different place. Mid afternoon yesterday I found Mary, Brad and Pete, staring out a second story window, hypnotized or frozen, I pushed to the window to see what they were looking at. I could not believe what i was seeing, It was frightening as hell you could not see any beach, just waved that looked liked they were 30 feet tall! And it was all in glorious Black & White. Amazing!

It's too bad that my body doesn't feel like a new place today, lol more like the storm kicked it around some more and didn't leave the nice smooth rippled sand. Oh Well. I'm sure I will get some nice moments of relief during the day
